New Research Training Group “cGMP: From Bedside to Bench”
(C) Susanne Feil
We are excited to announce a new research training group known as the GRK 2381 “cGMP: From Bedside to Bench“.
The Research Training Group (RTG) at the University of Tübingen has been developed largely by the PIs of the FOR 2060. The RTG will collaborate with partners in Boston to translate clinical experience with cGMP drugs “back” from “bedside to bench”. Each doctoral student will be co-mentored by a principal investigator in Boston who works on a related topic and she/he will visit the partner laboratory for a period of three months. Using state-of-the-art techniques and transgenic mouse models (developed by members of the RTG) fellows will gain critical new insights into cGMP’s role in cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and neurological disorders.
The RTG will start in July 2019 and a first call for PhD applications is scheduled for the end of 2018. For more information, you can contact Prof. Dr. Robert Feil. See contact information below.
Congratulations to all involved in developing this excellent training program!
